Petrie (1837, 248) records this as follows: 'Immediately adjacent to this circle [Carrowmore 43; SL014-209060-], towards, the north, there are seven or eight large stones which appear to have been the remains of another circle.' (quoted in Bergh 1995, 196, Carrowmore 43A). Not visible at ground level.
