In trees and rough grazing near the W shore of Coolreash Lough in an area marked ‘Liable to Floods’ on OS mapping. Listed as ‘Fulachta fiadh’ in the RMP (1996), on the basis of a map annotation by Tom Coffey (1994, SMR file). This fulacht fia comprises a kidney-shaped, grass- and moss-covered mound (13m NE-SW; 7.3m NW-SE; H 0.3m) of burnt stone which is open towards the SE. The mound is overlain by a later, N-S field wall and has a whitethorn tree growing on it. This is one of four fulachtaí fia in this area: CL010-172---- c. 80m to the SW, CL010-171002- c. 65m to the N and CL010-171003- c. 135m to the NNW.
