Hut site in Gortderrig

In rough heather-covered hill pasture in cutaway bog, on the lower N-facing slopes of the East Pap of Dana and within a network of relict field walls (KE068-126001-). The remains of a circular hut site (8.8m N-S; 8.6m E-W) defined by the lower courses of a partially collapsed stone wall (T 0.9m; H 1.7m). The wall is well-constructed and consists of random rubble. There is an entrance (Wth 1.2m) at E which is defined along the N side by a jamb stone (L 1m; H 0.5m). The level interior is under pasture. Another hut site (KE068-126004-) lies c. 50m to the N.
