Indicated is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Gortanure, County Roscommon, Ireland. The 1837 Ordnance Survey map marked a circular feature thirty-five metres across at the crest of the eastern end of a low ridge. An oval grass-covered area, thirty metres north-south and twenty metres east-west, holds a grass and bush-covered stone spread four-point-eight metres wide at the west with internal and external heights of zero-point-four and zero-point-five metres. A ten-metre entrance opens at the southwest.

Marked as a circular feature (diam. c. 35m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map (MA 63), and situated at the crest of the E end of a low ridge. Oval grass-covered area with some bushes (dims c. 30m N-S; c. 20m E-W) defined by a grass and bush-covered stone spread (at W: Wth 4.8m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.5m).
