What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Clare, an earthen ring where the boundary between human law and fairy temptation thins. People may have built it to keep out what wants to enter, or the fairies may have shaped it to keep people out. The clay remembers both intentions because it still stands while the living forget.
