Situated N of a stream in pasture. Excavated in 2007 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road improvement scheme (Licence no. E3386). A partially stone-lined trough (L 3.9m; Wth 1.4m; D 0.65m) with a poorly preserved oak plank aligned longitudinally along its base. The fill contained charcoal and stone inclusions. This feature was partially sealed by an area of stone cobbling that related to a later period of agricultural activity. Radiocarbon dating of charcoal recovered from the primary fills of the trough returned dates of 1391-1264 cal BC (UBA-10491). Two smaller undated pits were located c. 15m to the NE.
