What is recorded here

Indicated is a submerged crannog at Fenagh Lough, County Leitrim, where a narrow causeway still curves beneath the surface toward the mainland. The overgrown stony island rises barely seventy centimetres above the water, small enough to walk across in a minute but old enough to have watched boats, storms and forgotten journeys pass along the bay. In that quiet place, even a missing name becomes a room: someone lived there, loved there, and the lake kept the shape of their choice.

Situated at the mouth of a subrectangular bay (dims c. 150m N-S; c. 120m NE-SW) at the NE end of the subcircular Fenagh Lough (dims. c. 800m NE-SW; c. 600m NW-SE). This is an overgrown, circular, stony island (diam. 11.5m E-W; 10.5m N-S; H 0.7m) with a narrow causeway (Wth 1m) curving beneath the surface of the water towards the mainland at N.
