Glanshearoon holds a nine-by-six-metre black stain in County Kerry, marked in 1986 as a levelled fulacht fia. The burnt spread still contrasts sharply with ordinary soil, yet the missing trough denies the place its usual purpose. People may have cooked, cleaned or gathered there before ploughing removed the shape. The dark mark remains, waiting for imagination to complete what the earth forgot.

The monument was noted in 1986 by the Castleisland District Archaeological Survey as a levelled fulacht fia visible as a slight rise in a ploughed field (SMR file). According to the Castleisland Survey, the 'spread of burnt material (dims. 9m N-S x 6m E-W) was very obvious as a black stain against the normal soil colour.
