What is recorded here

Garrison holds a four-foot standing stone buried inside a boundary fence on Daniel Curtin's land. Bowman recorded the site in 1934, but the exact spot has vanished. The stone may have marked a field edge, a burial place or a forgotten road. It still stands somewhere near Garrison, waiting for a person who knows the land to find it.

Bowman (1934, 389) recorded standing stone on Daniel Curtin's land; 'This is incorporated into a boundary fence, and is about 4ft high'. Exact location not known.
