What is recorded here
Terraced three-bay three-storey house, c.1800. Reroofed, c.1975. Refenestrated, pre-1992. Pitched roof with replacement artificial slate, c.1975, clay ridge tiles, rendered and red brick Running bond (shared) chimney stacks, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted rendered, ruled and lined walls. Square-headed window openings with cut-limestone sills, and replacement uPVC casement windows, pre-1992. Square-headed door opening with replacement glazed timber panelled door, c.1975. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.
Despite the insertion of inappropriate replacement fittings to the openings not having had a beneficial impact on the external expression of the house the retention of the original form and massing maintains some of the integrity of the composition in the street scene.
