Semi-detached three-bay two-storey house, built 1903. One of a pair. Pitched (shared) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, red brick Running bond chimney stacks having stringcourses, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves having consoles. Painted rendered, ruled and lined walls with red brick quoins to corners. Square-headed window openings with painted sills, painted surrounds incorporating 'keystones', and one-over-one timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening with painted surround incorporating 'keystone', and timber panelled door having overlight. Road fronted.

Built as one of a pair (with 12003046/KK-4766-03-46) a pleasantly-composed modest-scale house representing an element of the early twentieth-century domestic architectural heritage of Kilkenny City makes a pleasing visual impression in the street scene of Loretto (sic.) View. Having been well maintained the house presents an early aspect with most of the historic fabric surviving in place, thereby making a significant contribution to the character of the streetscape.
