What is recorded here
Kilnabasty is a children's burial ground on the western edge of St Laurencesfields, where fieldstones still mark graves that never received names. Local memory and one unusual adult burial suggest the ground has long collected those ordinary rites refused, perhaps even before it became a cillin for unbaptised infants. A single hawthorn stands near the centre, and the unrecorded generations beneath the soil remain the place's truest residents.
Kilnabasty is a graveyard in County Galway, Ireland.
