Gallaun

This standing stone is situated in an area of flat bogland on the S side of the Inny valley. It rises irregularly to a rounded top and is somewhat irregular in plan at base, measuring .6m x .68m; NW-SE. It stands to a maximum height of 1.4m. Its SE edge rises almost vertically, while the other edge tapers inwardly from a point .85m above the base. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
