Bowman (1934, 625) recorded a fulacht fiadh, 'in Michael O'Regan's, 60 yards from fort No 1'. Exact location not known: 'fort No 1' has not been positively identified though it may be ringfort (12525). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
