What is recorded here

In rough hill pasture on bog, on a W-facing slope. A horseshoe-shaped mound (11.8m NE-SW; 6.3m NW-SE; H 0.85m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil. The opening (Wth 1.8m) faces a small stream to the NW. There is a hut site (CO091-016004-) c. 45m to the WSW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
