What is recorded here
In generally level low-lying, damp, improved pasture. Reported as one of six possible fulachta fiadh (along with MA070-008001-, MA070-008003-, MA070-008004-, MA070-008005- and MA070-008006-) running in a more or less N-S line (L c. 200m) near the E bank of a small N-flowing stream (SMR file). All that is visible is roughly circular grassy patch (diam. 15m) level with the surrounding darker grass and dock-covered ground. A subcircular rush-covered area in the centre (diam. 5m) may indicate the location of a trough.
