Fulacht fia in Coolykeerane

One of two fulachta fiadh (10614) recorded by Broker (1937, 14) on Tim Murphy's land; described as 'in field in front of house, 20 feet diameter, 3 feet high in parts, and drain cut through it: now tilled and levelled'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
