Fulacht fia in Cooles

In marshy ground, adjacent to pond. Mound of burnt material (15m E-W; 15.6m N-S; H 0.32m); eroded by cattle on W side and cut by digging along edge of pond on S side. One of a group of four fulachta fiadh (10579, 10580, 10581). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
