Fulacht fia in An Cheathrú Bhán

Abutting another fulacht fia (GA027-045----) to the SW. The rear of the fulacht fia (GA027-045----) is very wide (max. Wth 7m; ext. H 0.8m) and a possible truncated arm abutting it at SW may indicate the presence of a second fulacht fia. The stump of the possible arm may have been truncated by the NW-SE running trackway to its SW and the opposing arm may have been removed when the drystone well was constructed to the SE.
