Former Gortcally Fairy Fort — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

No visible ruin remains because people took the stones for other uses. The fort stood on a sunny Donegal slope, recorded only in old maps and local memory. It is gone from the land but still named in the story of the place.

The 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch maps record a 'Fort' here. There is now no trace of it now, the area having been extensively quarried. The site is on a S-facing slope in good grazing land.
