What is recorded here

Two cross inscribed graveslabs (WM004-035028-) are set against the external S wall of the nave of the Abbey (WM004-035010-). Their findplace is not recorded but it is likely from their position that they were found in the cloister and probably represent the burial place of two priors. The first is a 13th or 14th century coffin-shaped sandstone graveslab (dims. H 1.75m; Wth 0.35-0.47m; T 0.18m) outlined by an incised line and decorated with an incised cross patee with elongated stem.
