What is recorded here
N ot indicated is a burial in Foilacamin, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies the top of Bregaun hill in an upland region with panoramic views in all directions. A stone cross and railing now mark the grassland where a cairn once stood, though building that cross in the 1950s may have partly levelled the ancient mound.
On top of Bregaun hill in upland region with panoramic views in all directions. No evidence of any burial which was referred to in the Kilkenny journal of 20 July 1918 which refers to 'Excavations on Brengaun'. Cairn (TS049-014001-) in grassland at time of inspection with railing erected around Stone cross. The construction of the cross in the 1950s may have resulted in the partial levelling of any cairn on this hill.
