What is recorded here

Flaskagh More holds a low rectangular mound of earth and stone, sixteen metres long and twelve wide, on a north-facing ridge in County Galway. Trees mantle its west and northwest sides while three large boulders mark its south edge. It may be nothing more than a field-clearance heap from recent centuries, yet the deliberate boulder line suggests someone shaped the slope rather than merely dumped stone. That much intention turns a mundane task into a boundary, visible still in the grassland.

On N-facing slope of a ridge in hilly grassland. A low subrectangular mound of earth and stone (N-S 16m, E-W 12m max.) mantled with trees on W and NW sides. It is delimited by three large boulders along its S side. Possibly a relatively modern field-clearance cairn.
