Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Dairsie as Cist (period Unassigned), Beaker (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1km. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Beaker period cist; dates to the early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1800 BCE). Its significance lies in its association with the Beaker culture, which is important for understanding burial practices and social structures in early Bronze Age Scotland.
