Field boundary in Tuar Sáilín

In rough hill grazing on bog, on the lower S-facing slopes of Coomacarrea Mountain with views S over the valley of the Inny River. The remains of a curvilinear field wall (T 0.65m; H 0.4m), which protrude above the surface of the bog, extends in a general ENE direction for c. 150m. Many of the stone slabs in the wall are set at right angles to the line of the wall. Occasionally, the wall disappears into deeper bog before re-emerging after varying distances.
