What is recorded here
No fairy fort in Fiddaun. That is a misnamed ringfort, an ordinary human dwelling place from the ancient past. The fairy label is a later mistake, not a clue. The earth bank and stone rim belong to people who lived there, not to fantasy.
In low-lying grassland. Subcircular rath (27.5m E-W; 26m N-S), in fair condition, defined by a bank of earth and stone which is overlain by field boundaries at N and E. A gap (Wth 4.5m) at SSE may be original.
