The discovery of human skeletal remains of a single individual at this site was reported to the National Monuments Service by Matthew Seaver, Assistant Keeper of the National Museum of Ireland. The burial came from a gravel ridge and had been disturbed in the process of construction works. There was no evidence for a cist or grave structure associated with the find.
