What is recorded here

No visible entrance exists for the Sheskin ringfort, only a broken stone circle and a hidden gap where the wall should stand. The missing door suggests the fort refused ordinary entry, waiting instead for someone who understood its rules.

Located towards the bottom of a W-facing slope. This is a subcircular grass and rush-covered area (int. dims. 26.2m E-W; 21.3m N-S) defined by an overgrown stone spread (Wth 2-3.5m; max. int. H 0.7m; max. ext. H 1.2m) W-N-SE with an earth and stone bank (Wth 3.5m; ext. H 0.8m) elsewhere. Facing-stones are intermittently visible, but the original entrance is not identified.
