In level pastureland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 247, no. 123) as a circular ‘Stone fort’ (diam. c. 48.8m) that was densely overgrown and more than half of which was destroyed. It was defined by a double-faced drystone wall. Some stone was taken from it and used for road metal in the construction of a road to its N.
