Fairy fort in Greethill, County Galway, is a collapsed stone ring now reduced to a grassy bank, breached by tractor gaps and shaded by a concrete water tank. Inside, cattle feed where people may once have stood, while the unknown small opening in the wall remains a quiet puzzle. The field wall and tank have taken much of its shape, but the ring still holds its own odd, forgotten life.

On a S-facing slope with pastureland to the N and scrub and rock outcrop to the S. This poorly preserved subcircular cashel (26.5m E-W; 23m N-S) is defined by a collapsed drystone wall, now reduced to a grassed-over stony bank, which is overlain by a later field wall from N to E. The enclosing element is obscured at SW by a large concrete water tank and is breached by tractor gaps at W and NE. An opening (1m by 0.6m), the purpose of which is unclear, in the SW quadrant of the interior is filled with loose stones (Cody 1989, 258-9, no. 83). The interior is used as a cattle-feeding station.
