What is recorded here
Gorteen holds a stone ringfort named doora Ed, yet local memory calls it a fairy fort. Human hands built the cashel, but the name suggests the site still belongs to unseen neighbours. Build beside it if you must, but leave room in the plan for what does not show on paper.
