Lisnamullaghaun is a sub-circular stone ringfort with a wide bank, shallow fosse and two hidden chambers cut through the north side. The name means ringfort of the wethers, fitting a place where sheep, people and memory still move through narrow stone spaces.

Internal diameter 22.8m N-S, 26m E-W Lisnamullaghaun/Lios na Moltachán (ringfort of the wethers). This is a sub-circular univallate cahir, situated on pastureland which is gently sloping S. The enclosing stone bank is well defined. On average 7m wide at the base, it rises to a maximum of 1.7m high above the interior and 2.8m above the external fosse. The external fosse encloses the whole site, and is c 2m wide and .6m deep. The interior is at a higher level than the surrounding land and in the N sector of the interior are the remains of a Man-made underground passage (KE009-060001-). The drystone walling of the chamber is clearly visible. The tunnel would appear to extend through the N bank to the chamber and then curves SE. W of this chamber at a distance of c 2.6m is another chamber. In the W sector of the interior is a mound of stones, 3.6m N-S and 3m E- W; c 1m SW is a small depression, 1.4m N-S, 1.2m E-W and .4m deep. The above description is derived from C.
