Doonkelly holds a nineteen-metre stone ring on a plateau edge, yet human arrogance forgot it because no map records the mark. Grass buries the stones while a precipice waits beside them, creating a chamber where memory and myth collide. The fairies may have built it, or humans may have vanished from it, but the circle remains intact while human certainty collapses.

Located at the NE edge of plateau or plug (dims of top: c. 130m N-S; c. 100m E-W). It is not marked on any OS maps but is visible as a circular feature on aerial photographs (GSIAP: G 355-4). This is a grass-covered circular area (int. diam. 19m N-S; 19m E-W) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 3.8m; int. H 0.1-0.6m; ext. H 0.35m). There is no identifiable original entrance, and it is overlain by a NNW-SSE field wall towards the perimeter at W while the perimeter NE-SE is at the edge of a precipice.
