Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Carrickbeg (athlone South By.),curraghboy is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Carrickbeg (athlone South By.),curraghboy, County Roscommon, Ireland. The D-shaped feature measures roughly thirty metres from northeast to southwest and twenty metres from northwest to southeast on a south-southeast-facing slope. A north-northeast to south-southwest field wall truncates its southeast edge, while the structure remains hidden beneath pasture at ground level. It was probably a cashel.
Visible on aerial photographs (GSAIP: M 470-59) as a D-shaped feature (dims c. 30m NE-SW; c. 20m NW-SE) truncated by a NNE-SSW field wall at SE, and situated on a SSE-facing slope.
