Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Ballymacrogan West

Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

Fairy forts are stone rings built by human hands, yet local story claims they belong to hidden life because the boundaries blur where human memory fades. In Ballymacrogan West the ring remains a marker of that threshold: a place where the ordinary field may still contain excluded or forgotten life. To visit is not to prove the claim but to witness the shape of belief, the kind of boundary people draw when they stop understanding the land and begin listening to it.
