Thirty-four metres of unbroken earth rise from the northern slope in Woodfield, forming a perfect circle with a single southern gap. The bank remains sharp enough to suggest recent life, though no wall or roof survives to explain whose hands built it. A fairy fort is a human shape stripped of its history, large enough to walk through and mysterious enough to stop you walking.
On N-facing slope of a rise in grassland. Well-preserved circular rath (D 34m) defined by a bank. There is an entrance at S. (Knight c. 1975, 111)
