What is recorded here

No visible trace remains of the circular enclosure in Togherbane, though it stood large enough to mark on the 1842 map and vanish entirely from the 1916 edition. Four fields east of its neighbour, the fort likely gave way to ploughing, building or simple forgetting. The fairness in its name suggests people once believed the land belonged elsewhere, or that what lived there refused human ownership.

This circular enclosure, four fields E of KE014-082----, is also marked on the 1842 OS map. It does not appear on the 1916 edition, and no visible trace remains.
