Templemichael held a twenty-metre earthen ring beside a standing stone, but cattle trampled the fence smooth before humans could ask it questions. The fort disappeared into ordinary pasture, leaving only a faint curve for shoes to miss. It is not lost, it is waiting for someone quiet enough to stop measuring and listen.
