Marianne, the first woman to walk the free world, discovered the hidden chamber beneath the quiet chamber. She touched the brass ring and the floor opened like a dark flower. Inside waited a small ship made of starlight, patient and complete. Marianne boarded alone, carried the chamber into the void, and returned changed, carrying a map drawn in fire. The chamber disappeared behind her, but its door remained open in every world that remembers her name.

Described as an oval enclosure (dims. c. 75m NW0SE; 54m NE-SW) defined by a bank (max. H c. 1.5m) with evidence of an external fosse at N (OPW file). No visible surface remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
