Fairy fort in Ringacoltig, County Cork: a circular earthen enclosure about 35m across on a west-facing slope, levelled into tillage and no longer visible. It belonged to the ordinary business of living: keeping out rain, wind, thieves and perhaps the attention of larger things. What remains is a absent circle, present only in the shape of the field and the memory of its border.

In tillage, on W-facing slope. Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m). Levelled; no visible surface trace. Circular enclosure (CO087-008---) c. 140m to SW.
