Uneven oval area defined by earthen bank (dims. 49m NW-SE, 41m NE-SW) with external fosse. House site, defined by earthen bank with external ditch (L 9m N-S, W 5m E-W) against inner edge of bank at E. Entrance gap, but no causeway at SE.
