Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Rathscanlan

On a low rise. Indicated on the 1838 and the 1914 OS 6-inch map as an embanked circular area (diam. c. 30m). According to local information, this possible rath was removed in the 1950s. A level area on the top of the rise (diam. c. 20m) probably indicates its location.
