What is recorded here

That is the name of the place, and the name is a trap. Under the trap is a circular rath about twenty-six metres across on a low ridge in pastureland. A field wall now covers part of the ancient bank, and trees have taken the inside back. Twenty-two metres is nothing, but twenty-two hundred years is a long time for stones to sit beside a children's burial ground and wait for someone young to run past without thinking.

On a low ridge in pastureland. Poorly preserved circular rath (diam c. 26m) defined by a bank which is overlain by a field wall. There is evidence of stone-facing from WNW to NNW; a gap occurs between WSW and W. The interior is overgrown with trees. A children's burial ground (GA106-145----) lies c. 220m to the SE.
