What is recorded here

Mahonburgh holds a fairy fort, an earthen ringfort built by human hands yet named for unseen residents. The clay bank still stands in County Clare, marking a place where people lived, died and were forgotten before folklore stepped in to claim the empty rooms. Its persistence suggests the fort did more than decay; it waited.
