Thirty-seven metres across in a Kerry pasture, the fort still stands with a stone-edged bank and outer ditch. Locals call it a fairy fort and tell of hidden passages beneath, but no tunnel has ever opened for a human camera or boot. The oblong mound in the north-west corner may have marked a hearth, a burial or a boundary, yet it remains unbroken. People walked past this ring for centuries, some fearing what lived inside, others simply trusting the land to keep its own counsel.

Internal diameter 39m N-S, 37m E-W This univallate ringfort is situated immediately N of KE009-065---- in a large pastoral field. The view is excellent especially to the E, S and SW. The site consists of a circular area enclosed by a well-defined bank of earth and stone and an external fosse. The enclosing bank rises to a maximum height of 2.8m above the fosse and 2m above the interior. The external fosse is wide, U shaped and well-defined, and it is 1m-2m wide and 1m below the height of the surrounding land. The interior is at a higher level than the surrounding land, and contained within the NW sector is an oblong mound, 1.8m x 1.8m internally and .6m high. A lot of stones are displayed.
