Fairy fort in Larkfield, County Leitrim: a grassy circular area about thirty metres across on a steep north-west slope above the Bonet River valley, marked by an earth and stone bank that thins into a scarp and hedge. It has no visible ditch or clear entrance, yet its shape remains distinct inside coniferous forest. People may have lived, herded or gathered there before the trees closed around the field; the fairies, according to local story, kept the fort for themselves.

Located on a very steep NW-facing slope of the Tulllyskeherny plateau, overlooking a NE-SW section of the Bonet River valley. Grass-covered circular area (int. diam. 30m E-W; 29m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3.2m; H 0.4m) at N which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.2m at S to 0.8m at E and 1.4m at W) and hedge elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. It remains unplanted in a coniferous forest (Bing images c. 2013).
