Knockrour holds a thirty-metre earthen ring with a 2.5-metre bank, standing beside a second ringfort and hiding a possible underground passage. Conifers now crowd the interior, turning the ancient boundary into a green chamber where human shadow and fairy tale both belong. The land has kept its shape through forgetting, waiting for someone to walk the bank and remember what the soil already knows.

In pasture. Circular area (diam. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.5m). According to Hartnett (1939, 67), 'vague traces' of a second bank. Interior planted with coniferous trees; possible Man-made underground passage (CO060-175----). Ringfort (CO060-091002-) c. 30m to NE.
