A circular area (max. diam. c. 44m) defined by a scarp (H c. 1.5m). Slight evidence of fosse at E and SE. No evidence of original entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
