What is recorded here

Two shallow rings lie crushed into the Galway grass, joined by a narrow track and hiding a man-made passage beneath the soil. The northern circle measures thirty-one metres across while the southern irregular ring stretches thirty metres, both worn smooth by centuries of rain and foot traffic. People may have built the rings to keep out storms or invaders, yet the hidden passage suggests they also wanted to disappear when danger arrived.

In low-lying grassland. Poorly preserved conjoined rath. The N enclosure (E-W 31m, N-S 27m), subcircular in plan, is defined by a bank, and by a quarried-out scarp from NE to SE. The S enclosure (ENE-WSW 30m), irregular in plan, is defined by a bank except at NW and SE where a scarp forms the enclosing element. There is a Man-made underground passage (GA015-047001-) in its interior. A trackway runs between the two enclosures.
