Fairy fort in Kilmoraun: a 29m oval earth bank on an east-facing slope, visible in satellite imagery and compiled by Mary Tunney in 2023. Cattle graze around it now; people may have lived inside it centuries ago, using the bank for shelter and the slope for light. The shape is small enough to walk in minutes yet old enough to outlast every name spoken beside it.
